We are very proud and blessed to have Clare as our granddaughter by marriage to John. John is the oldest son of our oldest, Dan. Clare summarizes six years of suffering in one paragraph. Please read this personal testimony. It´s a beautiful story of things that can only be learned in suffering! It´s a story too wonderful to keep to ourselves. And then listen to the song, which helps tell the story, too. The link is given below...
August 2009- diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis

April 2011- diagnosed with Lyme Disease

June 2015- 98% healed!!

Years of suffering has taught me so much. God is so good. I'm praising Him this week for the ability to wake up at 7a.m. or earlier, work a six-hour shift, and run 3 miles all in one day, and still not be tired come 10 p.m. Today I ran four miles for the first time in 8 years! Saturday I will be participating in my first 5 kilometer race since high school. What a blessing to have so much energy once again! I just pray I never stop relying upon the Lord and use my renewed energy for His purposes and glory. Thank You, Jesus!

What an uplifting testimony from Clare! It's great to see the power of God healing people's bodies. I used to put more emphasis on the "joy of suffering" until I realized just how much God wants to heal our minds and bodies. Now I rejoice more in the joy of His healing. Praise God for what he did for Clare. The mighty power of the Holy Spirit destroys sickness - not just if God is in a good mood, but out of His great love for his people. - Randy Keeler

God loves to heal, I'm sure of that and I've probably seen as many healings per square infirmity as anyone. But anyone who knows Clare will testify of the humility and sweetness that oozes from being six years under the crucible. I am enjoying the best ministry of my life in these latter years, and it is the result of the agony and grief of having to look up to see bottom... no one can convince me otherwise. Overall, I've been blessed with good health, but the good has come from deep inner pain... things that I would never ask to go through and I hope never to repeat, but I am thankful for them. I've read a lot of biographies and anyone who has made any kind of a permanent mark on the Kingdom of God has gone through things that some would say should never happen to a Christian. God loves us too much to spare the rod.
